Saturdays

I realize that only about 2 people read my blog, and I haven't written anything in a long time, so now it is down to one, but for anyone that does still read this I want to conduct a scientific pole.

My question is; Is Saturday a day to do work around the house and get caught up, or is it a day to relax and do nothing?

Brian, while I agree that Julie's Christmas planning is too soon. I have to support her view of relaxing Saturdays.

Look at the bright side: While Julie is out Christmas shopping in 80 degree weather, you can escape the madness because there is so much "work around the house" that "needs to be done".

i'd like it to be relax, but it is usually when the mowing, etc. gets done by jaret, so i usually end up getting something done inside. but we do our share of relaxing, too.
(glad to see you posting again!)

Saturday's are good for a little bit of catching up and a lot of relaxing. That's my opinion as reader number...4(?).

by the way...it's never too early to start with the Christmas music. I usually figure if I take a couple months off, then it's good to play/sing again. *grin

Well, it doesn't help that I don't really technically have to clean ever, but I'd say it would depend on the week leading up to Saturday. If it's crazy, you definitly need some catch up time, but if you haven't done anything all week but create dirty dishes then maybe some cleaning is good.

But I kind of agree that it's a little bit of both, though Sunday is kind of my rest day, and Saturday is my errands day.

I'd say, most Saturdays are definately for relaxing, but every once in a while, you'll end up with something that HAS to get done that day, so that's when it should get done. So, every, um, sixth Saturday might be working day. For us, Satudays are actually errand days usually, and then rest days.
